Six year old’s birthday inspired by Crusade
The WHAS Crusade for Children has been inspiring adults and children for three generations. It has inspired six-year-old Andrew Raderer to do something special for his birthday.
Instead of birthday presents for the second year, Andrew asked his friends to make a donation to the Crusade. His generosity started when his parents put money in a firefighter’s boot and explained that the money help children with special needs.
“I’m giving all my money to the sick kids so they can have more medicine,” said Andrew, the birthday crusader.
Andrew raised over seven hundred dollars at last year’s birthday party.
