Bullitt County CASA

CASA of Bullitt County

Youngsters involved in the court system in Bullitt County received some much needed help from the WHAS Crusade for Children.

Dawn Lee, WHAS Crusade for Children President & CEO said, “On behalf of the WHAS Crusade for Children I’m so happy to be here with representatives from the Zoneton Fire Department who help raise money for the Crusade this year so that together we can present a check for $12,500.”

Cindy Prestigiacomo, the Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Bullitt County says the Crusade funding is crucial, “Right now we have cases open with 155 children. But there’s close to 500 in the Bullitt County court system on the dependency, abuse and neglect dockett.”

Cindy says Crusade funding will help CASA to meet its goal of serving all the children in Bullitt County who need legal representation.
