Longtime Crusader honored
Employees of Jeffersonville’s US Census Bureau office gathered on the 6th Street section of the WHAS Crusade for Children Walk of Fame to mark the passing of one of their own.
Paul Dean headed up the Census Bureau’s fundraising efforts for the WHAS Crusade for Children for fourteen years. Friends and co-workers honored his untimely passing with a block on the crusade walk of fame.
Neal Feathers of the Census Bureau said, “To honor Paul for all his hardwork he did for the CBWRA and for the Crusade for Children. Paul was very giving. He was always trying to do for others.”
Paul Dean’s block is located in section 33 on the 6th Street side of WHAS11. In Paul’s honor his co-workers plan something special for their annual charity auction held each November.
