Home of the Innocents is grateful for the Crusade
Today Home of the Innocents is celebrating the grand opening of its phase two project. Thanks to your support of the WHAS Crusade for Children, youngsters who were never able to enjoy a day at the pool now can swim to their heart’s content.
“This pool is set up so that its gong to be very beneficial for medically fragile children,” said Gordon Brown, Home of the Innocents President & CEO.
And that’s just the beginning. With this grand opening, Home of the Innocents debutted a new therapy court as well as a new dental care facility.
Brown said “We have this wonderful new facility opening today because its what our community wants for kids facing crisis and we’re just the venue for that.”
Thanks to the community’s support of the Crusade, Home of the Innocents has received $2 million to continue to expand its care for children with special needs.
