Christole, Inc. a local not-for-profit serving individuals and their families dealing with autism and developmental disabilities recently received a grant from WHAS Crusade for Children.

WHAS Crusade for Children has, for the past 50 plus years, provided assistance for agencies that help children in need in Indiana and Kentucky. The new van, which was partially funded by the $10,000 grant from WHAS Crusade for Children, will allow safe travel to and from school, medical appointments and community outings for the children and staff of the group home.

Christole, Inc. has locations in Brown, Bartholomew and Monroe Counties. They serve children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities in group home settings, supported living sites, and respite services.
