“Chowdown for Children” fundraiser planned
Bowling Green agencies step up to the plate
You’re invited! Join the community-wide effort to raise money for WHAS Crusade for Children.
Nine local, non-profit organizations are collaborating to hold “Chowdown for Children”, a fundraising and awareness event:
Big Red School of Western Kentucky University
CASA of South Central Kentucky, Inc.
Caveland Education Support Center (GRREC)
Family Enrichment Center
Kelly Autism Program of Western Kentucky University
Regional Child Development Clinics, Inc.
South Central Kentucky Kids on the Block
VSA Arts of Kentucky
Western Kentucky University Research Foundation
Mark your calendar for March 3rd!
On Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, local restaurants will donate a percentage of their sales back to WHAS Crusade for Children.
Participating restaurants include:

Burger King (three locations)
Double Dragon
Firehouse Pizza
Hartland Café at Holiday Inn University Plaza
Reece’s Bean Pot
Sbarro’s Restaurant
Waffle House (three locations)
Moe’s Southwest Bar and Grill

This is an opportunity to show your support for agencies that serve our community. By participating in “Chowdown for Children” and eating at one of these locations, you are helping local, non-profits who receive funding from Crusade for Children continue to serve special needs children in our area.
