U of L receives over $523,000 in Crusade grants

On the University of Louisville campus, if you listen closely you heard the sound cha-ching today! It resonated throughout the U of L campus. WHAS Crusade for Children CEO Dawn Lee presented the university with one of the Crusade’s largest grants.

“It’s a combined amount of more than $523,198. The Crusade is so proud to be a part of the U of L family,” said Dawn Lee.

That combined total includes thirteen grants to university departments such as dentistry and education.

“It allows us to continue to move forward with many of our programs that are so important to this community in terms of providing for the welfare of the children of this community. So we’re very appreciative. We’re delighted that the gift is even larger this year than in the past,” said Dr. James Ramsey, University of Louisville President.

This year’s Crusade grant brings the total given to U of L to more than $19 million in 54 years.
