Crusade seeks proposals for investment

Crusade seeks proposals for investment

An open letter from the WHAS Crusade for Children

The WHAS Crusade for Children is seeking proposals for investment management services for our endowment fund. The endowment was established five years ago in an effort to ensure the future of the Crusade’s ability to grant 100% of the money raised each year through the telethon.

Attached is a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP). Each proposal will be treated as confidential information and will be shared only with the committee making the final determination.

The WHAS Crusade for Children saves and/or enhances the lives of children with special needs in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The first annual Crusade was held in 1954 and since that time we have raised over $133 million to save and/or help over 3 million children.

The Crusade is proud to grant 100% of the dollars received to agencies providing direct services to children with special needs.

Please be assured that the Endowment Board of the WHAS Crusade for Children, Inc. will carefully review each proposal.

Representatives may be requested to appear for an interview and provide additional information about banking services. Questions may be submitted in writing as outlined in the proposal until the submission deadline of September 1, 2009.

Thank you for your interest and support of the WHAS Crusade for Children. We look forward to reviewing your proposal.

Sincerely,
Dawn Lee
President & CEO
