Crusade grant hearings begin
The current state of the economy has many agencies that serve children with special needs scrambling to find funding to make up for budget cuts.
Tuesday, March 3, the WHAS Crusade for Children opened its grant hearings process with the first of more than 200 requests.
The Crusade Advisory Council, has some tough decisions to make. Grant requests total over $10 million and the 56th Annual WHAS Crusade for Children is expected to raise between five and six million dollars this year.
