“Crusade Kid” Noah receives honor

“Crusade Kid” Noah Stickler received the “Breaking Barriers Award” on October 28, 2008.

Noah, age 12, received the “Breaking Barriers Award” on October 28, 2008 at Bellarmine University.

The event was sponsored by the Metro Disability Coalition. Shown in the above photo are Bette Hughes, counselor at Ramsey Middle School, and Norm Terry from Jefferson County Public Schools. “We are so proud of him!” Said mom Debie Stickler.

Noah’s one of our Crusade for Children kids who appears on the annual Crusade for Children telethon during the first weekend in June as part of the “Miracle Dancers.”

Noah and his family were also honored as Noah was chosen to be one of the children used by the Crusade in photos and video over the past few years.
