Lillie Dodson is a child helped by a grant provided by the WHAS Crusade for Children to the Family Enrichment Center in Bowling Green. Lillie had an outing recently at the National Corvette Museum’s Easter Event. They let the families in the Parents as Teachers Program attend all of their events free of charge.

Lillie’s mom Debbie said they had a great time. “As you can see in the pics, Lillie had a wonderful time at the museum. We do appreciate everything you have done for us over the years. Lillie would have missed out on a lot of activities that you have provided for us to attend because we didn’t have the money to take her ourselves. You have provided us with information that helped us understand Lillie’s growth and learning process that otherwise we would not have known.”

Debbie continued, “We have grown to love you as part of our family and hope to keep in touch even after Lillie starts school and is out of the program. I think joining your program was one of the wisest choices we have made for Lillie.”

Nancy Booth of the Family Enrichment Center says, “The Crusade for Children has been just so instrumental in the Parents as Teachers program. Without the Crusade, we would not be able to serve special needs children such as Lillie.”
