Lexington area agrencies receive Crusade funds

This year the Crusade for Children is granting a total of $214,079.75 to agencies and schools who serve children with special needs in the WKYT-TV (Lextington) viewing area. Eight agencies in Fayette County will receive over $90,000 in grants.

Here’s a list of those grants:
Bluegrass Technology Center – $12,000
Cardinal Hill Lexington – $10,000
CASA of Lexington – $15,000
Central Ky. Special Education Cooperative – $10,000
Child Development Centers of the Bluegrass – $4,500
Christian Appalachian Project – $4,000
Hospice of the Bluegrass – $15,000
VIPS Lexington – $20,000
Eastern Kentucky University – $4,068.75
Franklin County Schools – $40,000
PUSH – $22,500
The Sunshine Center – $3,061
Rockcastle Hospital – $23,950
Asbury University – $20,000
Woodford County Public Schools – $10,000
