2nd Annual GlobalAir.com/Eagle Aviaition Poker Run helps Crusade

This was a special day for two special youngsters. Noah and D. J. Stickler got to fly an airplane as honored guests in the GlobalAir.com Aviation Poker Run. The event benefits the WHAS Crusade for Children.

Noah and D. J. boarded a Piper aircraft with pilot Dane Wilham and took to the air from Bowman Field. It was a first flight for both Noah and D. J. With the supervision of pilot Wilham, Noah was first to try his hand at flying. After a quick landing and pilot switch at the Greene County Airport, it was D. J.’s turn. Both young flyers came away from their first flying adventure sporting big smiles.

Question to Noah: “So noah how was flying?”
Noah: “Great…heh…heh. It was really fun.

Question to D. J.: “So now are you going to get a pilot’s license?”
D. J.: “I think it would be pretty neat. It’s a pretty neat little thing to do.”

The crew at GlobalAir.com is still totalling up the final tally from the aviation poker run for the Crusade. For Noah and D. J. it’s a definite winner.

Globalair.com and Eagle Aviation presented the 2nd Annual Aviation Poker Run for charity to benefit WHAS Crusade for Children. The event was set June 26th, 2010 at Bowman Field (KLOU).
