What do you get when you combine firefighters with hot wings? A fundraiser for the WHAS Crusade for Children with the emphasis on fun.

With that eight firefighters from several Southern Indiana fire departments chowed dow in the first ever “Wing-off”, an event put together by Service Master and Buffalo Wild Wings of Clarksville.

David Herley, coordinator of the event said, “It’s a great cause and we want to raise money for the children of the Crusade.”

EMT Terry Conway of the New Chapel Fire Department finished thirty wings in three minutes and thirty-two seconds to take first place. The first ever “Wing-off” raised more than $400 for the Crusade.
