Hardee’s national tour starts with Crusade
Firefighters from Louisville Fire & Rescue set the tone in joining the WHAS Crusade for Children in accepting a $1,000 donation from Hardee’s restaurants as part of their national “Making it Happen” Tour. The presentation took place at Hardee’s at 2909 Fern Valley Road in Louisville.
About the ‘Making it Happen’ Tour:
Hardee’s® restaurants are cooking up a taste of the American summer spirit and serving it to residents and local charities in five Midwestern and Southern states in a multi-store tour. The Hardee’s® ‘Making it Happen’ Tour will be visiting 66 Hardee’s® restaurants in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee and donating money to hometown charity groups, organizations and individuals from August 10 through August 17.
In its second year of touring, Hardee’s is proud to continue this new tradition of giving. Owners Margaret, Carl and Jason LeVecke have established the tour to ensure the needs of theirs local neighborhoods are being met, especially its veteran and children’s needs. The tour focuses on giving contributions to outstanding individuals, small groups and local charities where it has the most direct impact on lives.
