Rebecca Jackson, Chief Executive Officer of the WHAS Crusade for Children, will retire from the position at the end of 2008.

Rebecca Jackson has served as CEO since May 31, 2005.

Rebecca Jackson has overseen many administrative and functional changes within the Crusade, strengthening the infrastructure of the Crusade, and broadening its reach into the Community. She has strategically set a course for the Crusade to continue to be a vital entity with helping children with special needs for many years to come.

The Board hopes to name and have a new CEO in place by the end of this year. Rebecca Jackson will continue to perform as a consultant with the WHAS Crusade for Children through Crusade weekend 2009, insuring a smooth transition, as well as making public appearances, and fostering developmental opportunities on behalf of the Crusade for Children.

According to Paul Barth, Chairman of the Board of the WHAS Crusade for Children, “Rebecca Jackson and everything that she has brought to the Crusade over the last 3 years will truly be missed. She has a true love and care for all of the children with special needs whose lives have been touched by her passion for the Crusade.
